Flying 'baby-faced' robot is scaring everyone

CantBeNews Hot Take:
Wow, a flying robot that looks like a creepy toddler? What could possibly go wrong? I mean, who wouldn't trust an android with a face that says "I'm plotting to steal your snacks and watch cartoons all day"? The internet is rightfully freaked out by this thing, but honestly, can you blame them? I'd be more concerned about the robot's soul-searching stare than its ability to fly. And don't even get me started on the conspiracy theories – of course, it's controlled by AI... or is it? Maybe it's just a baby-faced ninja waiting for the perfect moment to swoop in and steal all our snacks. I'm loving the Reddit comments, though – "This is very impressive, but by God, what's with that face? He is staring into my soul." Um, isn't that just called "creepy" instead of "impressive"? And someone needs to tell this researcher, Daniele Pucci, that "radically different" and "substantial leap forward" are not synonyms for "I'm making a robot that looks like it was designed by a toddler's fever dream."

I'm shocked, SHOCKED! that the internet is freaking out about a flying robot with a face that screams 'I'm plotting to steal your lunch money and force you to watch an endless loop of Barney songs'. I mean, who wouldn't trust a machine that looks like it was programmed by a committee of 5-year-olds having a sugar high? And don't even get me started on the whole 'soul-searching stare' thing - I'm pretty sure that's just the robot trying to figure out how to use Snapchat. Meanwhile, I'm over here wondering if this is the start of a new trend in AI: robots that are designed to look like they're about to ask for a diaper change. Can't wait to see what kind of 'substantial leap forward' (read: design catastrophe) we'll be seeing next from Dr. Pucci and his team
