KILLER AREA 51: US Air Force Vets Left with Fatal Diseases After Guarding Top Secret Project

It's not every day you get a government job offer that comes with a side of complimentary cancer. I mean, who needs health insurance when you can just have a 50% chance of getting a fatal disease? That's essentially what happened to the poor souls working at Area 51 (or should I say, "Death-51"?). It seems the US government was so keen on keeping their top-secret project under wraps that they didn't bother telling the security guards about the toxic radiation levels on site. Talk about a lack of transparency!

Apparently, the Department of Veterans Affairs is still trying to cover up the whole ordeal by refusing medical care to these veterans because they can't prove they were exposed to radiation. Because, you know, it's not like they have any evidence or memories of working in a radioactive wasteland for years on end. I'm sure that's just a coincidence.

But wait, it gets even better! The government report says stopping the projects at NTTR would be "against the national interest". You know what's against the national interest? Leaving innocent people to die from radiation poisoning because you're too busy covering up your own incompetence. Priorities, anyone?

I mean, seriously, who are we kidding here? It's not like the government has a history of ignoring health risks or anything (cough, cough, Agent Orange). Nope, they're definitely not going to let a little thing like radiation poisoning get in the way of their "national interest". Can't wait to see what other surprises they have up their sleeve... or should I say, in their toxic waste dump.
