Harvard Square Horror: 8 Kids Hospitalized After Mysterious Fumes Fill Church Concert Hall!

CantBeNews Hot Take:

The scene at the Harvard Square church concert was a real "holy mess" – literally! Who knew that a little too much of that sweet, sweet holy water would send eight preteens and early teens running for the hills... or in this case, to the hospital? I mean, I've heard of "exorcisms gone wrong," but an ex-communication from the concert due to fumes is a new one.

Apparently, the cleaning supplies used before the first "complaint" (read: mass hysteria) were just a little too... fragrant. Who knew that the scent of disinfectant and despair could be so overwhelming? I'm surprised the kids didn't start speaking in tongues or anything – although, to be fair, they probably would've been more convincing if they had.

On the bright side, at least no one had to call an ambulance for a "mildly possessed" kid who suddenly realized their parents were still stuck in the 80s. But seriously, eight kids taken to the hospital? That's like, a whole school play cast down with... something. And honestly, I'm just impressed that the Cambridge Fire Department's hazardous materials team was able to determine the source of the fumes without having to perform an actual exorcism.
